This article is stored as a flat file by Statamic and published through the DiscussionBridge addon.

The bridge uses the entry's durable Statamic identity, not its mutable slug. A background worker sends the title, canonical URL, and article body to Discourse once; an explicit retry resolves the same Bridge Record and topic instead of creating a duplicate.

That gives a file-first Statamic site a native publishing workflow while Discourse remains the discussion system of record.
